バンド名の由来は
fixed idea(フィクストアイデア)＋idea(イデア)=fixed idea(フィクストイデア)
という造語から。

2008年4月 Vo,Shi-naとGt,yuyaを中心に結成
2008年5月 1stライブを行う
2008年7月 1st Demo「In Qualia」完成
そして1st liveからのサポートメンバーだったGt,ユタカとBs,松谷昌幸とDr,さもんとKey,漣が加入
現在のfixed idea.の体制が出来上がる。

その後地下活動を挟みながらも都内にてlive活動を続ける

2009年11月 1st Mini Album「undecided」完成
2009年12月 1st Mini Album「undecided」をamazonにて全国発売
2009年12月 池袋RUIDO K3にてレコ発ワンマンライブ「undecided"black or white"」を決行　130人以上の動員記録
2010年06月 川崎CLUB TITTA'出演。
